Building a Digital Workforce



Shift from using AI as a chatbot to deploying it as a digital workforce. In this intensive 2-week bootcamp, we dive deep into the world of AI Agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). This is where "No-Code" meets "High-Logic."

You will learn to architect systems that can search through technical libraries, process maintenance requests, and execute complex workflows without manual intervention. Using the "Bring Your Own Problem" model, you will build a sophisticated agentic system designed to solve a high-level operational bottleneck in your organization.





The Curriculum: Architecture, Automation, and Autonomy


  • The Agentic Framework: Understanding the science of Agents vs. standard LLMs and how they integrate with existing engineering data pipes.
  • Mastering RAG: Building "Retrieval-Augmented" systems that allow AI to ground its answers in your specific utility manuals and private data sets.
  • Microsoft & Google Ecosystems: Hands-on deployment of agentic workflows within the enterprise tools you already use.
  • Operational Automation: Building end-to-end agents for maintenance requests, asset inspections, and automated scheduling.
  • Local & Decentralized AI: Learn to run agentic systems on your desktop to reduce costs, increase privacy, and understand the trade-offs of decentralized AI.
  • The Human-in-the-Loop: Mastering the ethics, security, and "Human Checks" required to deploy autonomous systems in critical infrastructure.


The Build Lab: From Theory to Deployment

Following our proven 50/50 Model, you will spend half your time in mentored builds:

  • Weeks 1-2: Technical deep dives followed by 1-on-1 architecture of your project.
  • The Capstone: Presenting your functioning Agentic system to a cohort of your peers.
  • A certificate of completion to share with your manager and professional network at the end of the course
  • Early access to the Ecoformatics platform with recordings from this workshop and other courses as well as a community of water innovators for 3 months after the course ends



Bootcamp Details

  • Prerequisite: Bootcamp 1 or equivalent basic AI knowledge.
  • Duration: 2 Weeks (Monday–Friday)
  • Commitment: 2 Hours Per Day (1 hour teaching | 1 hour building)
  • Final Output: A functioning Agentic Workflow or RAG System for your utility/firm.

Meet your Instructor


Gayathri Gopalakrishnan, PhD is an award-winning scientist, engineer and entrepreneur who has been pioneering the integration of AI in water, agriculture, energy and climate since 2003. She has worked in multi-billion dollar organizations including Facebook and Argonne National Laboratory as well as several clean tech startups.

As a scientist, she has been recognized by the US National Academies of Science and Engineering for innovative environmental research and she was invited by the Obama White House to participate in the first conference on innovation in clean technology and big data.

As an engineer and technical leader, she has led teams translating complex R&D into commercial products supporting $10M+ in revenue. Recently, as the Director of Science at Regrow Ag, she led the development of AI systems for digital twins that scaled 40x across 18 countries and led to 36x efficiency gains.

She received her PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from BITS Pilani, India
